Hi All,

I'm in serious need of somebody who is either willing to draw up or allow me to use a set of animated 2D character sprites. Think your average platformer.

If possible it'd be nice to get a set of gfx, a few characters, and some tile map blocks/background. So the styles match.

It's for the release package of PlayBasic, so I can't use ripped artwork, as much as i'd like to


Hmm, I wonder what's coming in 2011?

Try that site. It makes you 2D faces / character sets for free. There are so many variations to choose from.

Yeah it is pretty cool. I found others but I forgot the links. Some were even better and faster because this site (http://charas-project.net/index.php?lang=en) is kinda' slow.

Since this is not strictly a DB request, here seemed more appropriate place at the moment.

However, all semantics aside, VanB has kindly offered to churn out a some cutie sprites. None exclusive of course.
