I need a free simple 3-d level editor that can create levels like that of Id-Sofwares Wolfenstien-3d/Spear of Destiny. Your Efforts would Be most appriciated. I would also hope that you will include the functions to use them in DB.

If you require any lists ob objects or textures or any thing of that matter you can contact me at [email protected]

You might want to decide how you want to make your levels before you get into tools requirements. You have basically three paths you can pursue: BSPs, model levels (usually X format), and matrix levels. Of course, you can combine some of these methods.

Some people are quite handy with BSPs and use tools like Valve Hammer. Model based levels can be built with any model editor such as JTEdit. Matrix editors do exist, I don't know any off the top of my head. It possible to make levels based on height maps as well.

I tried some of those editors, they are great with a game that may require more complex levels. But really all I need is world builder that simply places a textured box and places it where I want it. DeleD was as close to what I wanted I could get but after about 5 minutes of editing it zaps my system resorses down to 0%

DeleD eats away your system resources? That's the first time I heard about that one. Can you please email me any specific details about what you're doing with DeleD and what system your running it on? Thanks.
