depends what you mean, if you want it like when you run over a health pack in unreal tournament, you just need to check the distance between the player and the item, if you want to visually pick it up and carry it around its more complicated.

This made alot of people very angry and it has been widely regarded as a bad idea...

you could use handpositionx#= NEWXVALUE() etc...then position item you picked up at handpositionx#,handpositiony#,handpositionz#

handposition xyz is just a variable bibz1st made up to keep track of where the hand is. i think the idea he was proposing was that you keep track of the hand's position, then position the object at that position if it is being held. throwing it should be easy enough.

oh right thanks can u give me the code or somthing because i still dont know about making the hand pos and stuff i know what u mean i just dont know how to do it like do i put handposx newxvalue(100) or somthing and how does it know when u r near enough to pick i up
