3 Dimensional Chat / 3ds models wont load anymore *very confused now*

i made .3ds models using anim8or all the time into dark baisc. but for some reason i meade this particular model and it will absolutely not load into anim8or anymore. and now im really upset because i cant get it into dark basic anymore lpus its saved as a 3ds! if you knwo any programs then let me know. I cant use 3d canvas for some unknown reason, and my milkshape trial is up any suggestions?
