Dear reader
Is it possible to use your own icon for a darkbasic application?
My normal icon is a some kind of grew button. but i would like to use my own icons.

Please help me!

DBC or DBP? Also try searching several sections of this forum since some solutions to this problem have already been posted.

Ive used custom icons with DBP so i dont know how it works with dbc but in mine there is a button below the media one in the bottom right that is called icons.

you go to that one and just click add and find the one you want to use, that should work.

of course you have dbc so i dont know.

if the icon altering process in the editor doesnt work consider getting icon forge 4+

How do you mean???
i have the darkbasic classic and i can't see a option for a costom ico for my apllication you know the .exe file!!!
Everytime i get a stupid grew button (quite boring)
Does anybody know???

alright thanks, but the darkbasic compiler doesn't allow it? do i need to hack it? or is there a simple standard parameter somewhere??
It's quite confusing to hack my application to change the appicon

If you would go to the DBC thread and search for 'icon', you would find a dozen posts on this topic as well as URLs to several utilities.

I have done this once (changed an icon i mean) I can't remember how exactly but it was something to do with using the normal icon then right-clicking on it and messing sround in the properties.

You can change the icon you use that way. But, you can not expect that from the users of your program.
