How do you get Doga(L1) to export .x models (i don't need .x animation just .x model )

Any other ways to export to DBPro from doga (L1)would be helpful...

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I like emoties just in case you didn't notice...

Isn't it horrible that whole families have to be torn apart by something as simple as wild dogs...

I'll have to fire up L1 when I get home to see. If you're handy with L1, I suggest L2. More textures and materials and it is also a freebie. You only have to register L2 and L3 if you want to render AVI files or sequential bitmaps for movies.

Try file > export > Direct3D. That's the same thing as DirectX file-wise.

Some upgrade tips for you. L2 and L3 are also free to download and use for game models. L2 adds more features such as textures and materials. L2's help files are in English. L3's have not been converted, yet. So, learn L2 well before moving on to L3. I have made a translation of the L3 part assembler help file, but I have been too busy to finish the other files. When you move to L3, check out this URL:

http://zircher.iwarp.com/doga/index.htm

Besides translated files, you can find links to more parts and tutorials on how to add those parts to DOGA. There are literally hundreds of new parts that you can add to DoGA L2 or L3.

L3 is a worthwhile goal to work towards, you can use custom backgrounds and textures, create new material effects, as well as use the anime shaders, it can load in SUF files on the fly, change SUF files to use new colors and texture mappings, etc. Jumping straight from L1 to L3 can be tricky for some, that's why I suggest taking it in steps. The translated help file for the Part Assembler makes it a lot easier than it used to be. L3 gives you the maximum flexibility and creative control when it comes to making game models. The next step after that is learning to master Metasequoia LE so you can make your own custom parts.
