This one is about 1400 polys, which isn't that much. (its because I triangulated this one for better .3ds to .x exporting)
It's two objects.

Edit: fixed some errors.

Yes, rages model is really good. Im just glad I didnt spend time putting my models on the internet (as a newbie 3d modeler) so I could get some opinion and/or critique on my models. Im sure glad I wasn't dissapointed when no one answered my post for 2 days then all of the sudden I get a post informing me of the quality of someone eles work.

Yes, I am being overly sarcastic. (probably rude too)

Seriously be sensitive to the topic of whatever posting in.

Here's a tip, people are lazy. One tank we can see straight up, the other is hidden behind some URLs which the author didn't even bother to highlight with the http:// button.

It's understandable if your web host does not allow remote sharing of files. But, it is possible to make things easier. For example, Geocities does not allow remote linking, but it is trivial to make a small web page to show off the file.

http://www.geocities.com/tzircher/ga_test.htm

Not only did I make a small html for the image, I also used the href tags to make it an active link. My hover tank image is now just one click away for the forum users.

Just my two polygons of advice...

BTW, without textures your model leaves too much to the imagination. Waterbugs, canoes, ice skimmers, all came to mind before tank did. This is a good start, one of my early favorite tank designs that I made in POV Ray was a catamaran tank design.

Cyberflame>> I know it wasnt 100% fair to you and I appologize. But you have to understant too, that when you post something here, its like to put your skin on market. Dont be suprise if you don't get back what you expected to get.

I agree with zircher in every points he sat, so read his post once more and take good advice he is giving you ...if you already did not..

That tank of yours is something hard to give some critique (pos. or neg.) ...it hardly resemble tank and its untextured. My opinion is that its interesting but nothing special ...thats the reason why you probably did not get too much response so far...

Also you have to be bit patient, you can't expect wide attention by posting your firsth model, even if its relatively decent and for you its for sure exciting experience to find out that "you can model".

So my advice is to cool down and continue to advance your modeling skill. As you will become better, you get more response from others for sure.

Wish you good luck with that...

Yeah, I have no idea why my links don't work. They should. I even put th "[img][/img]" and "[href][/href]". I am uber horrible a texturing. But i was wrong, I was just haveing an off day and really shouldn't have acted like that, I probably proved myself a hipocrit. (bad spelling)

Yeah, But rages model is Awesome.... I dont think the code in this forum works 100%.
