Hello World:

What do you do with bugs? Are you just curious, trying to warn people, or do you fix these in updates?

Please stop with the 'Hello Word' thing already, it's getting annoying fast.

Who are you asking this question to? Obviously the TGC bugs are there for us to report so they get fixed in the updates.

Hello World:

Uh...so many other people end it with:

EDIT: Plus, Rich begins with "Hello All" (or something like that)

Cheers,
(Insert name)

So? 'Cheers' is a standard salutation whereas hello world is annoying.

Hello World:

Why did I do this in a whole nother post instead of the edit button? It didn't feel apropriate...

anyways, since I know some gayassf*kker is going to complain in this thread about me saying that, you would do the same thing (don't act like you're above it, I don't want to here that sh*t)

Also, my Hello World: is a salutation as well
besides, lately I've been laying off posting
time to get my electric sleep
good night

To answer the question, you would post it in the bugs forum I believe.

when you get bugs you make workarounds until the bug is fixed. i can see the timescale for the db team to fix a bug is 6months.

dont expect a quick fix

lagmasteruk - http://www.lagmaster.net is alive! http://www.dbforums.co.uk/ - another db forum!

But it isn't a standard one, it's just an annoying one.

@Mr X - to answer your question. ANYONE who finds a proper DBPro bug should post it in the bug forum but only if they have source code to back it up. Also a search of the bug forum should be done first so that duplicates are not posted.

If a mod, usually Ian M, Rob K or TCA tests it and is is validated as a bug it will be marked as 'confirmed'. Otherwise 'rejected'.

Lee Bamber goes through this list to fix as many as he can for next patch. He marks his triumphs as 'fixed'. Hopefully we will see lots of the current batch of bugs being fixed and marked as 'fixed' for the upcoming patch 6.

Enough with the dissing hello world from Mr.X. Thats not what this thread was posted for. If you want flamebait make your own threads and talk about it and get it deleted, but some newcomers might need to know this information.

Hey, don't dis the "Cheers". A few us have been using it on forums and chatrooms for longer than most of you have been walking. Let alone on the net. Hang on, what am I on about, is a standard British thing since I was like a kid (about 15)!!!!

Heh. As to tolerance, just saw that South Park episode with the Tolerance museum the other day. Chortle....

Ouch. That fastly flickering siggy is a bit eye hurting after a while though.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Yep, I watched that South Park episode and found it really funny. This latest series is getting sicker than ever.

What other cartoon could graphically illustrate sticking gerbils up your a**e and have a complete story about it!

The 'Lemmiwinks' song was great.

Award for Most Annoying Current Forum Member goes to Mr.X.

your sig is annoying
what you say is annoying (and usually useless)
