I'm going to go try some more basic stuff with Dark Basic, I started out trying to make a 3-D game which was way over my head as I can only do limited things with what I know. I am going to go to 2-D games, like Side scrollers using old 8-Bit graphic chip sets and 16-Bit.

What would be the easiest type of 2-D game to start out with? Other than Pong lol o-o

in many respects 2d games may be harder to make than 3d games.

It all depends. If you make Breakthru or Space Invaders, its actually easier than 3D. Its when you get to Mario and RPGs that it gets hard.
