I am having computer troubles, and I was wondering if anyone could fix them, I would greatly appreciate it

Anyways, here are all of my problems:

Sounds not working because something is stuck in the headphone port. Can anyone tell me how to get it out???

The adapter is working half of the time. If you move it, it stops working. What do I do?

It has a slow startup time. How do I fix that?

It's not good at scanning cds. What should I do?

It's a laptop, hence the adapter.

Thanks in advance.

and a merry f*kking Christmas to you, @$$hole...

Get a new computer.

Seriously though...

1)Normally I would say, get a new sound card...but since you have a laptop its way more tricky.

2)New adapter. Might find one at a computer store.

3)Do you have a lot of start up programs? ie AIM yahoo, norton, etc etc. You might want to try to set those programs to not run at start up.

Defraging your hard drive wouldn't hurt.

4)Again, since you have a laptop this is tricky. It might just be the CDs themselves; but if it isnt your out of luck.

Hmm... I think you should just get a new computer.

a toothpick is probably the only thing you can use. Good Luck.

Open it up, see if something's having a bad connection.

As the Abomb12 said, a defrag would be good. Removing start-up programs also helps alot.

scanning cds? What's that?

Can I see a demo now?

Just in case you dont know, to diable startup items go to start>run and type "msconfig"

Go under the startup tab. Usually works for me if my computer starts up slow.

do you at least know what is the material of what's stuck in there?
if it's plastic, you could heat up a needle tip, poke it into
whatever it is (carefully), wait for the needle to cool, then just
pull it out.

Can I see a demo now?

check your vendor for warranty and ask them to remove it before u do it yourself or you may void your warranty only after 12 months.

I guess you dont have spyware and virus protection software installed so if not i suggest you get some rather quickly.

Try glueing something to it and pull it out.

The adapter is working half of the time. If you move it, it stops working. What do I do?

Work out why moving it stops it working, loose connection, wornout wire etc.

It has a slow startup time. How do I fix that?

format and don't install crap next time, or if its just slow put up with it.

It's not good at scanning cds. What should I do?

Put up with it unless you want to buy a new one. You could perhaps try and clean the lens. Clean the cds.

That probably wont work, the plastic will shrink(melt) away from the source of heat

Always have, never will =)
