Freebees... check out the post on top of this forum. It has something to say about the free modellers DeleD and JTEdit. The last one can model, texture and animate. The first one is good at creating levels and reasonable models.

I think that DeleD is the best. I began to use it and just fell in love with it. It also has an exporter option to export the files to .X files to use in games made in darkbasic.

When it comes to programing, I'm on fire!

A tutorial is in the making by Hamish (member of this forum). Be sure to keep checking the Delgine website. Also, a new version of DeleD will be released tonight (friday). This one has an Undo function added, amongst other things.

I know of 1 free 3D modeler, it's called Wings 3D, it's updated and really good for beginners or novice. My friend who created Sky cars used it. I created a 3D modeel also on it. I used it until i got 3D Studio Max 6. If you want cheap price dont go for 3D Studio Max 6 it's exspensive ($3495).
the link to get the 3D modeler (Wings 3D) is: http://www.wings3d.com/

Hope you like this one its very simple just right click on the perspective area and you'll know how to use just about everything after that.
