I think magic world seems like a great program, but how do position the matrix right (set one corner to 0,0,0 coordinates in DB) and another thing, I want to places trees, but they are very hard to get to the ground, I hold shift and click on the move icon, but nothing happens, only if I create a primitive, it will stick to the ground, but not if I load an object!?!?!?!?!?

New objects appear just in front of you, wherever you happen to be at the time. It seems that when you start, you are a long way about ground 0.

Use the movement commands for Matrices and objects, but keep a careful eye on the position values in the top left of the screen. Also, get down to a decent height before adding objects.

You'll soon get the hang of it.

also, if your object is not directly above any part of your matrix it will not hit ground level when shift clicking

You can find MagicWorld+source at http://www.robinking.com/allseeingi, also check out total terrain, quite useful if you can import heightmaps.

I used Magic World a couple of times, and when I ran it I could not see my object. I went back and edited the map in MagicWorld and found that it was positioned at like 346908,2369823,60249 or something crazy like that. Try moving it to the center when you edit it in Magic World.

yep, magicworld is great Create the matrix and move it to 0,0,0 (the coordinates is shown up in the left corner when you move the matrix) I think you can move the objects the same way. I truly recommend MW
