#1 - Always use Please and Thank you. It shows the people you care for what they have done for you.

#2 - Lay the f*** off the f***ing vulgar a** langauge and you wont look like a f***ing dips***

#3 - When asking for help, try to be very specific and post your code, possibly rem'ing out the areas you are having difficulty with. Remember to say please and thank you!

#4 - |)0||+ $P34|< 1|| +3|-| 1337 (dont speak in the leet)

#5 - Try to use proper grammer. Try NOT to use Instant Messenger words such as: u, wot, dood, da, b4 and other words like that. Try to speak in full sentences and not use abbreviations every other word.

#6 - TRY NOT TO TALK IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. IT REPRESENTS SHOUTING AND IS GENERALLY FROWNED UPON IN THE ONLINE WORLD.

Is it really that far to move your pinky that far in order to not sound like an idiot?

#7 - Have I mentioned saying please and thank you?

#8 - Do -NOT- post in more then one forum with the same question. If you have a question about some code, dont post it in DBC Forum and Newcomers forum! Its very annoying!

#9 - Always and I mean ALWAYS read the rules of the forum you are about to post in. This is ESPECIALLY important in Team Requests. If you post a team request such as....

i want to make da 1337 game help me plzzzzz

You -will- get flamed. Make sure you follow these guidelines and not sound like an idiot when you post. There are plenty sticky threads to help you out if you post seems to lack detail.

#10 - Dont post in all

#11 - Have a nice time on the forum, follow the rules, try to be a nice person, and enjoy!

Anyone agree?

RPGamer

I know this will confuse a newbie. You can post in either forum, just don't post in both.

Of course. But did you allways read the EULA ?
I suppose they will only click on "forward" without reading it, and join the forum.

You can *talk* in capital letters? I thought it was *type* hehe.

Here are a few ideas:

1. Use the search feature/search engines first AND read the manual and examples first.
2. Newbie or not, don't talk like a 4 year old, ie.
