Has anyone got any examples they could post of a 2d Scrolling background. I'm looking for two variants. 1 variant just a scrolling of 1 image or multiple images down the screen and across the screen. The other is one that I want to create realtime out of blocks so that the scrolling image can be made to look different all the time (something like in the classic Xenon).

Thanks for that....I've converted it to work in vertically rather than horizonatally. The prob is that in the project I'm doing I'm using text to display the score and the background sprite is wiping the score out....any ideas?
