Newcomers DBPro Corner / help with appending object

i have a model from dark matter and its x so ya kno and all i used was load object and then play object but append object wont work. i did get the file name right. im thinkin that you might have to start at the right frame for it to work but i dont kno wat frame to start at if thats the reason. thanx

I dont know what the command append object does so i could be wrong but i can try and offer some assistance.
