I have been playing alot of the Alienware games and just wanted to say goodjob (even tho they probably won't read this) to the people that made, Room War, and Alien Duel. Those were my favorite.

Also I was wondering if Alienwar did that liek every year? Will they do another this December?

Nah, about 3 years ago TGC had a demo of DB on a PC mag coverdisk and a compo to go with it sponsored by Future Publishing. First prize was a new PC, and a trip to E3. Strangely enough hardly anyone entered!.

Personally I really liked the Retro compo, remaking old games is great fun - I reckon the retro compo should be annual.

I missed out on the Retro Comp - I hope that they would do that one again. I'd jump at the chance!

a new compo seems about due...

how about a sports game compo?

any sport could be acceptable (hockey, football (both kinds), track and field, croquet, skateboarding, curling )

I think we'd see some really interesting entries!

Hehe, I'm ready for any type of game! - I agree with Walaber though A sports game compo for the summer would be cool.

Martyn,
Nah, never won a TGC compo - came third in the retro comp, came fifth in the Alienware comp, but I was joint first on GuyS application compo with VANseam .

In that exact same vein -

What about a Summer Olympics based competition?

What do you think? I've had this idea for about a month now, and I think it would be fantastic! People could make a track & field game, or a swimming game, or a pole-vault game, or anything olympic related.

Any thoughts?
