Okay, I've had a million problems since I've started milkshape, And until now, I've been able to figure them out.
I have the original dark basic, and when I export my models, I have two problems.

1.)It seems to export the texture that i made within milkshape, But Darkbasic doesnt seem to load them up

2.) My animations Dont seem to work.

How shud i export? and options to select what mode?
If anyone could offer assitance, it'd be very much so appreciated !

The number one reason for texture failure is that the textures are not in the same location as the models when they are loaded.

The fix for that is to copy the needed textures to the game or model directory.

The number two reason for texture failure is that the texture data includes path data that is not valid.

The fix for that varies, but the easy thing to do for .X models is to open the file in notepad and search for quotation marks. From there you can look at the texture path data and remove or fix it.

The number three reason for texture failure is you're using an image format that DB can not digest.

If so, convert your image formats to BMP/JPG/PNGs and edit the filenames in the .X file.

Hey indi, or anybody who happens to be poking around here,
I notice indi reminded BadMonkey not to use the bone feature when exporting animation. Is it still possible to use bones to animate your object, just not save the bone data but still save all the movement caused by the bones?
