I'd recommend something easier at first if you're new. I think the way to do this is to have an invisible object that's high but really thin, so it collides well. Position under the mouse at every loop. Then if there's a collision between the two objects, and the mouse button is pressed, then set the variable for the selection to true. See what i mean? It's a pain in the ass and you'll find it much more complicated than that. First time, i'd suggest something like the Limit Rush Tutorial. It gives you a good feel for everthing.

Yo estoy haciendo un RTS (estrategia en tiempo real) y también tengo problemas seleccionando objetos. Intenta buscar en la sección de los Code Snippets a ver si consigues algo que te ayude. Van-B hizo un código que podría ser útil para tí pero necesitas saber algo más de DarkBASIC. Aunque si tienes DarkBASIC Professional me temo que no podré ayudarte...
