3 Dimensional Chat / Pump action and stuff?

I'm busy making models for my game and to post on my website. I need to know how to make a switch blade and a pump action shotgun. the models are no problem. I wat to know how to go about coding or scripting the pump action upon shooting and reloading and the switch blade is like the activating mechanism for a light sabre .i got the models just need the scrpit or code. i have 3d studio max 6. and 3d canvas pro 6. Also quick question does a human model mapped with differet textures slow down the game. I'm making characters with interchangeable parts so each part has its own texture?

Pump action would be incredibly easy to code
After you shoot, simply play object x,animstart,animend
When reloading simply play object x,animstart,animend

Uh, I guess if 3 or 4 popularised cartoons that have come and gone in the past 10 years is a perferred medium...Then ok.

Gayest cartoon ever... YuGiOh... A goth kid with a really deep voice and pvc clothes who plays magic the gathering... Sound like I'm generalising? Watch it for yourself... Classic gaynissness.

Other than the anime junk, the site is ok. No real information or resource there yet...
