I have started making my Winamp Skin. I thought I would post it at its various stages. Here is the first day's work.

The Art, or the skin?

So far I have used Anim8or, and Corel Photo paint to draw the metal guy. I'm going to use Photshop to draw the Music player sections.

The Skin is programmed using any text editor.

Stage 2. Copy shapes. Scale down copies. Add inner shadow. Now I have a bevel.

Do you think I should change the shape between his legs to a bullet shape? I was thinking of having him riding a slowed down bullet, like bullet time.

Probably. Currently the shape under his legs looks like he's blessed with a rather large.. you know.

Its not a bug, its a feature!

I think you should ... I mean, it looks like he's on some kind of toilet.
But anyway : Great Job !

Tried a round player, not sure if it's better.

Errm, not to heavily criticize, but I really don't like the idea of putting anything between his legs at all. The last one looks like he's riding a missile or something. You should do that green effect thinger on the playlist(?) at the right.

Ok, I think the best thing to do is to put another character at the side of Neo. Then shrink the skin down, and put all of the gadgets between them.

Couldn't find two charcaters that match. Tried rearranging the parts. How about something like this?

Dunno, it's not so compact. I think I'll just start a new game or something.
