Ive looked through the help and am I correct in saying you can only play midi or wav files?

can you not play mp3?

Try a .mp3, you wont break anything.

lol yeah I know i should have tried it but im at work and didnt have any mp3's. luckily after a search good old flash had a few in its directory.

seems to work fine.

silly question over.

always the way. I get home try the same thing and the mp3 is all jumpy almost unlistenable? it plays fine in winamp. anyone else had funnies with mp3s?

Dunno if its the same problem but I had problems a while back after installing a codec pack.
If youve done this then uninstall the pack and go through each codec

aye i was wondering that. Ive got a sound booster for avi files but it does seem to run with any media file.

I'll investigate further

hmm its seems that when i run the code the mp3 doesnt play (all jumpy) but when i press f12 to get out the mp3 is playing fine.

ive deleted a few codecs . looks as though im gonna have to keep deleting until it works
