I made a simple tank model for testing in 3ds max, but when I load the model in DBP, the bones show up but do not affect the mesh. When I manipulate the limbs in DBP, the mesh doesn't move at all. Is skinning supported yet?

No, not yet. For the moment, you'll have to animated it in Max and then export the exported mesh. Although someone did find out to get some sort of skinning working by modifying the bones as limbs or something. But for the moment, you'll have to preanimate it
