has nayone here downloaded the latest version of msn, uses WIN 98 SE and is getting msn to crash? for me it pauses randomly while signing in and then just freezez and leaves a lot of random coloured lines on the top of the monitor screen. anyone know why? i updated IE today to IE6 but taht didnt help.

i dont belive microsoft support 98 any more but i could be wrong. and that might in no way relate to your problem but it could be that some code that is in nt5+ isnt in 98 causing it to crash

They were going to cut off support towards the end of last year, then changed their minds. Think it was something to do with a lot of smaller companies still having NT and Win 98 clients.

damn. i dont wanna upgrade. i like having an antique .
well my old version of msn worked fine so i guess ill go and look for info on how to go back to it.
