DarkBASIC Discussion / DirectX 7 or 8? I'm confused

Hi!
Does DBC require DX7 or 8?
When I build an executable, the save dialog shows that DX7 is required to run the app. On the website I see DX8.
I've got DBC 1.13 Enhanced (DarkMatter).

You need DX8 or higher

I always thought it was DX7. Perhaps you need DX8 for the expansion pack.
Anyone know for sure?

The original release of DarkBASIC needed DX7 - the 1.13 upgrade (and any version we've sold in the past few years) needs DX8.1

o dear o dear - i made a game using DB1.13, and sent it on a CD to someone with only the DX8.0a redistribultsatdsoishfs thingys

P4 3.2 GHz (w/HT) 1GB DDRRAM Radeon 9600 256MB + Crappy 2speaker soundcard
