Could someone help me with this code? I can't figure out why it won't play the movie file i've got. It just goes blank then back to the main screen again and it doesn't play the file, and I made sure that it was .avi too.

Someone reply please its becoming a real hedache, am I supposed to just open movie files as normal files? Or animation files???

Well first you got start with a simple command to load the animation:

load animation animation$, animation number

If you get past this statement, then you at least know DBpro is recognizing your file. To play the animation, use the play animation command:

play animation animation number

All together you could have something like this:

Yes, the do loop is important otherwise your program immediately exits since it has nothing else to do.
