My printer (HP) has one Colored (Coloured) w/e Cartrige and one B/W one, so when the Color one runs out, you still can print B/W.

My HP printer...you take out the supposedly dead cartridge...put it back in and it works for about another month.

Well, yes, but it didn't have in bold red letters on the side "STUPIDLY DOESN'T LET YOU PRINT WHEN THERE IS BLACK INK LEFT!!!"

i kno something more stupid:

i just had a thought: what about if there's two paedophiles out there, so experience that the other can't tell, and they're chatting each other up, both pretending to be 10 yr olds, what would happen on they day they actually met up, with cameras and everything?

THAT is

lmao- white ink. hahaahahaha
and if u guys want a cheaper alternative, you realise 3/4 of what your paying is the plastic cartridge; not the ink. Goto the shop and instead of buying a new colour/black ink cartridge, buy the needle kit. It lasts you about 6 refills, its cheaper and all u have to do is insert the needle into the top of the cartridge and seal the hole with a little sticky tape- works every time!!!

An excerpt from my brother receiving online help from an Epson technician:

Quote: "

...Welcome to EPSON e-Talk. Whilst waiting to be connected to a Support Technician please take the opportunity to view the following web-pages....

Carl has joined this session!
Carl says, Welcome to EPSON e-Talk. My name is Carl
You say, lo
You say, EPL5500W
Carl says, the EPL 5500W requires the windows 95 print manager to work and therefore will not work on later versions of windows
You say, do u have a workaround?
Carl says, no
You say, So printer is totally unusable?
Carl says, you would need Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 for the printer to work
You say, The printer is going the bin then
Carl says, ok
You say, thanks anyway
Carl says, Your welcome--Thank you for using EPSON e-Talk - bye for now
"

...and the rest is f-l-y

There was a report last year that found epson ink to cost around £1800 a litre - which rivals some of the most expensive champagne - I know what I'd rather have.

Anyway get a refill kit they work well - but fill the cartridge over the sink!!

I always get in a terrible mess

If it ain't broke - try harder.

Yes, get a refil kit. If you've got an Epson you may need to get the cartridge reseter (about £10) to, which resets the microchip inside the cartridge to let you reuse it ( The reason being those prats at epson put a microchip in the cartridges of some printers so when they're emptyed once even if refilled it still thinks it's empty.)

Personally, I've got a mono laser printer (Around £100 from Dabs). My Mum goes through paper line anything, but the roller lasts ages.

When you've finished being a spelling nazi you may like to know that in England, the home of English, color is spelt with the letter U in it: colour.

1. Save on black & white cartridges by by buying black only, and printing on white paper.

2. When refilling, do the lighter colours first (i.e yellow first, cyan last). The reason being they will "ooze" out of the bottom and get drawn up by the other colour outputs. It takes far less ink to flush the yellow out of the blue than the blue out of the yellow. I learnt this only last night.
