I am using .x files to load objects that will make up my environment. I want my character to be able to walk up a sloped piece of geometry so I am using polygonal collisions, however, my player model will get nearly halfway through the object it is supposed to be colliding with before DB Pro will return a collision.

When I have the collision detection set to boxes or spheres they will collide fine. I've tried increasing the poly count of the collision objects but that did not help, nor did fixing the pivot of the objects.

Any pointers on working with polygonal collisions would be helpful, or any ideas of what I might be doing wrong would be greatly appricated.

I believe there is a limitation where you can not have polygon vs polygon, but only polygon vs sphere or box. So, your character may be defaulting to a sphere or box and this is why you get the partial effect.
