If anim8or doesn't even support DB then why even use it? Im curious what's so good about 3D Studio Max? So far I've seen only their models, but how long does it take to make a 3D model as good as the PC games today? How much does it actually cost and where can i get it? is 3D Studio Max hard?

Anim8or models do work in DB, but the animations don't.
I make models in anim8or and animate in Character FX.

My Budget:
Anim8or $0
Lithunwrap $0
Character FX $15

Budget for 3dsMax:
3d Studio Max $3000+
