Ive had an idea but i havent tested it yet. here it is!
when you unwrap a model its usually about 128*128 or 256*256. which leads to some pretty rough graphics. So I decided to use vector graphics. It has the quality of a 512*512 pic in 128*128. I have yet to prove this theory so....Any ideas.

if you unwrap a model, you can usually export the uv map to any size,

Dang! ok what about the quality? the vector grahpic is at 128*128 with the quality of a 1024*1024. Doesn't this mean quicker load times and better quality?

If DB can not read the vector file, you're hosed. If it can, you're in like Flint.

Just try it.

warcraft3 model textures are 256. its the artist that makes them shine in that regard.

making in a vector format is fine for editing purps.
your going to have to export to a bitmap losing all vector qualities for usage tho.

DB can't read vector graphics formats. We're stuck with bitmap formats.
