DBC I am trying to get the default multiplayer going with a friend.
I am trying a TCP/IP connection.

Do we both have to turn off our firewalls?

Whose Ip address do i put in? mine or my friends? Whose does he put in? (he's trying to host)

If you are hosting a game do you see that line keep redrawing itself on the screen?

All things are possible the impossible just takes longer.

Show some code and what line?
If your friend is hosting, he should set his net connection to tcp/ip#," ". To join it, set your net connection to tcp/ip#, friends ip address.

There 10 kinds of people, those who understand binary and those who don't

when you leave it blank a window pops up that says "Type in an Ip address of the host or leave it blank to seach" The Host leaves it blank therefore seaching for incoming players who try to join his Ip?

I still can't get Dark Basic's multiplayer example working and the only one in the code library is DBP.

When you don't type in an Ip address it says something about searching. Is it searching for incoming players?

When it says Sessions [0] I assume I have failed to connect?.

The commented line of coding in original program. Is that suppose to stay there for the joiner? or the hoster? or neither? or both?

All things are possible the impossible just takes longer.
