here is the .obj format and the uvmap, it didnt retain the uvmap on export. so the uv coordinates might have to be setup.

here is a try at a street light. Poly count could be reduced a little, 139 polys right now. I will get one up here that is abuot 8o polys in a little while. I am trying to make a nice city scene as a battle ground so any objects i make that seem useful i will put up here. Also if anyone has suggestions for city items / things they need let me know.

I had a similar idea an made an ak and M16a2 and some other stuff.
Mybe you could have a warehouse with racks of weapons, a mailbox, a public toilet or a closed metro station?

thanks andrey. i really like your guns by the way. are you good at texturing models? if you have any referenece pictures or know any good links for references/blueprints let me know i could use some.
i think i might start with the mailbox as its the easiest. if bandwidth is a problem let me know i could always put the pictures on my rutgers website as i get unlimited bandwidth

Anything i make is based on american cities since they are the only kind i know. I do want to incorporate objects common to other nations but need some pictures to build of off.

to be honest i havent even narrowed it down that much. i live in a large town of 50,000 people. Most of my pictures come from there or by my school which is a city of about 150,000. But with some refrerence photos i can make practically any item from any type of city.

here is another model i am using in my city project
i 4 foot concrete median. its 26 polys but if you have more then 2 in a row and want to take of the ends its only 14 polys. I will post some more skins for it soon so that it isnt very repetative
