Ok it has been a major talking point on these forums a while that it (the forums) are going downhill. This has been put down to certain users etc. It was also mentioned that "The posters of the threads didnt know better. So i thought there can now be no excuses. If there is a post stating what is a good post(and general tips) and what should face IanM's new character change no one can say they didnt know better
______________________________________________________________________
o Dont post messages like "Can i have a crack please"
o Dont post Q's in code snippets
o Do try and help people that is the reason for the forums its not a spammers paradise
o Do post screenshots with program announcment
o DONT POST IN ALL CAPITALS IT REPRESENTS SHOUTING turn the caps lock off
o Try to keep the messages ontopic
o Do read board instructions before posting on a board
o Make sure that you dont start loads of new thread every day
o Dont insult members on the board they try to help so the least you can do is show good manners
o Its impossible for DB made programs to work on the PS2
o Name new topics something desciptive not just "Read this" or "Help" but name it something more "Help required: Making a menu"
o Dont SPAM (space=money or xkb=$)
o Check to see if a post or thread already exists with the thing you are looking for in it and it doesnt exist

Thats all for the moment. Post if you have any more ideas
(I thought that the phrase "Prevention is better than the cure" perhaps could be used until something is done officialy by the Mods and Rich)

I think i have just made a massive cock up. If only i took my own advice and looked at the 3rd Sticky thread from the top. Lock this thread but dont delete it. Why? because it will be public humiliation and show what happens to people who dont follow advice.

(or you could just leave it open and let everbody post and laugh and make comments on what an idiot i am which might let people get a few things out of there system!)

Bwahahahahaha!

Nah, you had good intentions, so it's all good. You can't have too many posts with good intentions ..... surely. .....

You forgot:

o There's no need to double post. The Edit Post link is your friend.

what does that mean?"

Do not start threads that are questions in the code snippets section.
