How would you make the mouse look around(smoothly). i can get it to move around as i move the mouse. but what i would like is the mouse to move seemlessly. Btw this is so the mouse can look around eg a fps looks around using the mouse

I wonder where that fish did go, a fish, a fish, a fish, O

Shoot for a constant frame rate, probably 60 fps, and if you're using "mousemove x", "mousemove y", etc commands, you'll want to divide those values for smaller and smoother number.

There 10 kinds of people, those who understand binary and those who don't

I have tried this and it didnt work. It is smooth but i change the feild of veiw to give the effect of zooming in. When it is zoomed in it becomes jumpy.

You need to divide it even more if you're zoomed in.

I'm not very used to these commands but I guess something like this:

Anyway you get the idea, have a variable for setting the field of view and use this to define how much it moves. The bigger the variable, the more zoomed in it will be and the less it will move.

If you've ever sat down in front of a rifle with a telescopic sight, jumpy is what you really get.
