Newcomers DBPro Corner / Invisible boxes are not what I want

Following a tutorial on making a 3d pong game, I came across a problem. I made a box (make object box 1,1,1,2) and when I ran the program it was invisible. I changed it to make object box 1,2,2,4 and it worked. As the box appeared for the person who wrote the tutorial I assume I have a setting set incorrectly. Could anyone please explain why this is happening to me.

there's a chance you just had the camera and the box too far apart to see it because it was too small. (though I doubt that's it)
