Ok, I've pretty much tried all/most of the good modeling programs and I've come to the conclusion that i can do everything but characters. i'm horrible. does anyone know where i can get character models w/ animation (walking at least)? or if someone wants to help me out w/ a game i'm making.
email me if someone is interested: [email protected]

get dark matter 1/2, they come with a variety of humans and other models all textured with various animations to fit your needs

www.turbosquid.com

just click on the free button to get a list of free models, watch out for polycounts too sites like 3d cafe feature very high poly untextured models which i would suggest to not use aim for 1000-3000 area depending on the model

lol thanks, both of you. for the high poly count, i could use those for cut scenes and the low poly for the game play.

but most of 3d cafes models are very high poly and arent textured so if you want grey cut scenes :-P

besides i havent seen many/any games made with db/p using cut scenes i guess they just take up too much filesize.
