Ok, Can I use .bmp files contained in the Darkbasic Classic software for use in my games? Then can I sell this game?

What about if I use a piece of code contained in one of the sample or tutorials, can I use this in my game and then sell my game legally?

Thanks in advance

I beleive that all the media that comes on the cd is royalty free. I also expect the code is royalty free.

Trying is the first step towards faliure.

I contated DB by e-mail and here is what they stated:

Hi John,

The following is a reply to your enquiry:

> What code, parts of code, bitmaps or other files or parts of files
> contained on the original CD I purchased can be used within my
program
> without being bound by royalty fees. Basically, what can I use
legally
> within my program that I want to market without fear of being sued or
> having to pay a royalty.

You can use it ALL! Have fun
