How do you make screenshots from tv? any hardwares? softwares or something?

If I use a digicam to shoot the TV, will that do? (I know it sounds silly, but I'm desperate...)

Digital cameras generally work but you have to watch for the flash as a tv is quite reflective - The curvature of the screen can cause the edges of the picture to be lost so use as flat a tv as possible. If you can set the camera mode - put it in sports - a european tv updates at 50 fps and us at 60 so you need the camera to shoot as quick as possible.
