Hey everyone,

I need an app that will compare two directories (folders) on my hard drive and highlight which files are different or missing from either. I remember Norton Commander did this, but that was for DOS. Any ideas?

This *does* relate to DBP because I have thousands of samples on one folder and thousands of samples on an external USB drive that is too slow to delete everything then do another copy. I have deleted about 100 samples from my hard drive and now I want to remove the same ones from the USB drive. Know what I mean?

there is a compare command in cmd.exe on win2k/xp machines but I think it may be only for files - like a filediff command. Check it to see.

At work I use TreeComp mixed with FCompare. Ideal for syncing websites between local pc, developement server and live servers. Have used them for years. Tried LOADS of newer ones but nothing compares (groan...)
