wow
Somehow I knew norton woul have an annoying, harsh power
but seeing as I didn't notice there was a diable icon, I figured the recycle bin would destroy them all

Once I dreamt that I fell into a lake full of the undead and demons. I screamed and hollered as my kitten jumped into it with me. None of my friends helped me.

I don't trust them anymore.

I want to know what happened to my desktop yesterday, I was running a virus checker and it had just moved on from the C: drive, and had just finished running Adaware when I left the computer for 5 mins.

When I came back a new piece of dialler software had managed to install itself to the desktop, start menu, and registry...

I could perhaps accept it at any other time, but DURING a virus check and moments after running Adaware!?

Andy: Perhaps the virus checker triggered the virus when it interrogated it?

Nah BatVink, the virus check came out clean. Either there was an icon war on my desktop whilst I was afk or that porn site I left on my browser launched a cookie...

Did I mean to say that?

virus checker is only as good as it's definition files. people can check until they are blue in the face - if a definition doesn't contain the data to recognize a new virus your virus check may be "clean" but you could still have a new, unrecognized virus.

That's why you need to update your virus definitions regularly

That is the greatest flash film I've seen in a while. To me, it even exceeds Homestar Runner! (Well, maybe just a little bit )
