Penny Arcade are creating there own Game Expo called PAX (Penny Arcade Expo).

Apparently they'll be having a huge LAN, table-top gaming, some guest speakers from the industry (with ways to break in) amongst other things. I sure as hell would go if I didn't leave a few thousand kilometers away... so far that we use different units to count distance. Anyway, I'd seriously recommend that if you can get there, you go, the full two days are just $25 which is extremely cheap and it looks as though it would be a heap of fun. I also think it's quite cool that these guys that just started making free web-comics for a living by selling the advertisement space on their site have become big enough to hold their own expo and get these kind of connections and sponsors. Not an easy thing to do.

Just letting anybody that doesn't know already because it's quite relevant to gaming and game development also.
