die you evil pinko commie murdering git, oh! hang on! it was somebody trying to be helpfull

@Mr Flibble maybe a switch to decaf`??

@General, ya, Crossroads is a cool app, and like you say, free (my favourite price ), I think the state should support all coders in comfort as long as they make two programs a year, then release the programs for free on the net, after all, even if they aint getting paid as such you can`t actualy stop coding (can you??)

Mentor.

PC1: P4 hyperthreading 3ghz, 1gig mem, 2x160gig hd`s, ATI radeon 9800 pro gfx, 6 way surround sound, PC2: AMD 1.2ghz, 512mb ram, FX5200 ultra gfx, stereo 16 bit soundblaster, ups.

General, being that you're dealing with BSPs etc, figured you might be interested in a Valve MAP converter to Cartography Shop map files on my site in the tools section. This will allow you to convert .MAP files to Cartography Shop (v3) files. Using the Prefab Maker will bring them inline with v4.1.

Technically you could convert any .MAP file this way and then use the .X exporter from Cartography Shop, or my CSM file importer for DarkBASIC Professional. Either way, a couple of options for you.

Regards, Paul.

Well, I agree with Mr Flibble. The General is daft for posting a 3D tool link in the DBP programming section. The general has been here 7 or 8 months and doesn't know where the 3D chat section is? That's bull.

Well, while the thread still exists, he'll get to read it and then move the link to the 3D forum, so leave it at that!

A mistake - yeah... but that's no reason to jump down his throat.

Let's see...

"Dear General. Thank you for your informative post. However, perhaps you might want to consider posting something like this in the 3D section next time..."

People should go on a customer service course sometime
