Hay im an newbie and i was wondering weather 3d studio max could be used to make modles for dark basic pro?

Yes. Very much so. But it's cost prohibitive at $3500+.

Many people steal it, and I don't condone or support that.

My copy of 3d studio max is legal, my dad is a graphic artest and he bout it for his home bisness. But i was also wondering about roiltys of if i have to put 'made with 3d studio max' in the titles or somthing?

3DS Max 6 is just £90 for students.

If you have a legal copy, you own what you produce in it 100%...no need to referance max. (exactly like DBP)

You need to use the free Panda X-file exporter for it..its the only one i use that i can get to work.
