yeah hope so

I'm working on a physics engine right now, so it'll take some time before I post some other screens.

He said he saved it as an object and then converted to .x

Yes, I now found the perfect level editor.

I did that too, but i was wondering how to export the textures.
I've just found a solution, i can export each texture by hand to .dds within unrealED, then i convert them to .bmp and finally i need to reassign each texture to the corresponding group in the .x file. It's quite a long process, but it's definetly worth it.
There might a better solution though

not quite, you may not use it for commercial use.

Ok, thanks for the reply
There's one problem though, i can't import the lightmaps using this method, it's a shame cause the unrealED internal lightmapper is really powerful.

You do know they are just placeholders for testing purposes? Better to read the thread before yoyu whine.

well you can export the textures to .dds format, which can be converted by most programs but DBP can also load them. You need to retexture the mesh in a model editing program.
