I need some people or companies that will let me advertise them on my site, im thinking of just having a sponsors page and throwing all the ad banners in there so i can get more traffic, Anyone know who i could advertise?

You can advertise the team i'm in on your site.

Or you could go around stealing banners off other websites like Microsoft, and Nextel, and Sprint, ect.

You won't get more traffic by advertising other companies on your site. The other companies need to advertise you. I would consider joining a webring or something like that to get more traffic.

don't expect miracles by way of cash in return.
And like Jeku says, how do you think advertising other companies on your site will increase traffic? Content makes traffic, traffic can be converted into affiliate cash...if you are lucky.
