Newcomers DBPro Corner / help with collisions

first, i'm using dark basic.now, i'm having trouble with the whole collision deal. i've been experimenting with just a normal object collision and have it print "okay" just to see if it works, but its not working. I don't really have much code to show, but if someone can show me a very simple version of a collision it would help me a lot. plus can some explain all these different colllisions like the box collision and stuff like that or at least a good simple website.

Check out our collision plugin as well. DB's built in collision is terrible most of the time. So it's often hard to tell if it's a programming bug on your part or just a DB malfunction, lol.
