I'm a total newb when it comes to DarkBASIC. I've had some programming classes, VB and learning JAVA, so i know the basics of programming concepts.

I was wondering about a few things concerning models.
What model types can be imported into DB? I have access to programs like Bryce3D and 3D Studio Max. I'm not sure what the model type *.X is.

Thanks!

You can use .3DS and .x, but it is preferable to use .x. This is the DirectX format, and if you can't export to this, there is a 3ds to x convertor on the DB CD.

There is also a proprietary format, dbo, for which there is a convertor program in the Program Announcements section somewhere.
