I would like to try using a simple skinning program to just practice out when I do my first few games. I downloaded LithUnwrap, however, it says I need to purchase it to save. So this isn't an option. I could buy it but I want to test out my skills before purchasing programs.
Could anyone tell me some easy to use skinning programs that are available. I don't need anything fancy just something that isn't hard to use. I was thinking about Milkshape but I want to wait and make a few basic games before investing anything.
I understand Anim8or does texturewrapping? If so is it reliable enough/easy enough for a begginner. I don't want a limited offer trial version as I would like to not have to be under pressure to do all my work before a specific time.
I have been using Wings3D for some time now, however I really need some textures to go along with them and the UVing for Wings3D is in its infancy. Should I stick with Anim8or or is there a good free skinner out there?
I would like to mention to everyone that LithUnwrap cannot save as a trial version so is only worth getting if you were going to buy it. In which case, I would much rather buy Milkshape.
Thanks for your help. Remember you were a noob once too
