Seriously this shouldn't be put in team requests as its exactly what we don't want. If your talking about actually making a 3d gun then you'll need to use an application like Milkshape 3d which is about $15 and has a great community or Gmax which I THINK is free.

Look at the FPS demo that comes with DBP (or at least came with mine) you should find all the info you need on these sorts of things in there.

also if u are a complete n00b which u said u were i wouldn't start out with a 3d FPS, you should start with something basic like a 2d game and owkr ur way up, learn loops, varibables etc. etc. etc. Anim8or is pretty good I use it, I used milkshape too once i think it was a demo it was good too

@Scar why dont you use Maya ? you did say in another post that you did use maya for 4y then it cant be a problem to make a gun.

in maya you can export as obj. but its not set up when you first use the program. you have to go to Window - Settings/Preferences - Plug-in Manager. then turn on obj export. Ive got maya5, but im pretty sure it works for 4 as well (dunno about the lower ones)

.........what's the point of reading this?
