I need a FREE Program to convert a VRML (.WRL) file to any that MilkShape can import. Milkshape exports wrl, but does not import. I searched, but couldnt find any that were totally free. Then only non-free tool I have is Milkshape (which I bought). Most modellers import wrl, but they cost alot of money.

Anyone know of any?

Some versions of trueSpace can read/write VRML. Does anyone know if the freebie version 3.2 can? (I know that version 4.3 can.)

Many of my tools can export VRML (.WRL) but only trueSpace and Spazz3D can read it. If you have 39 eruo, 3DWin is a very capable conversion utility. The demo version skips verts on export, but that might be ok if you're willing to fix the model by hand.

VRML is actually a bloody simple format, you could quite easily create a DBP/DB Loader program for it, then you can export to whatever format you like
Milkshape3D format is also pretty simple, i'd suggest grabbing the SDK. It wouldn't take much to code a converter from VRML1/2 -> MS3D

Actually, Ive tried truespace3.2. I think it does import WRL, but I forgot to mention that it is VRML 2, and Truespace says it cant browse VRML 2 files.

I need it pretty fast. Its not really worth my time to work on it. Id rather just spend the money to buy a proper tool.
