Hi, im having trouble upgrading my dbasic pro, and running a program i had made, the upgrade runs fine until it gets to the point im guessing it wants to open up into full screen. My program also uses fullscreen.

Im running windows 98 in 1024 with 32bit.

The error reads:
Runtime error 1512 - Display is not supported by available hardware at line 0.

If I remember there is an issue with 32 bit in 98, or 32 bit in general. Try changing the display mode

I just had that exact same problem a few days ago. All I did to get it to work is run windows update and get the new service pack, and also any of the other updates. Then it should work.

But I'm using WindowsXP, so I'm not sure if this will be different in 98.

oh and also make sure you have DirectX 9.0b. To find out, click start > run, and then type in dxdiag. Click on the system tab and check where it says DirectX Version. If you have DX 9.0, but then if next to it you have this (4.09.0000.0900) Then your directX is out of date. It should say (4.09.0000.0902) Once I updated it to 9.0b then my DBPro updated itself just fine.

You can find DX 9.0b here:

Hope it works.
